Broker-in-Charge

The Broker-in-Charge course offered through Oklahoma Real Estate Education School is provided by VanEd and satisfies the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission education requirements for applicants applying for a Broker Manager license (15 hours) OR fulfilling the continuing education license renewal requirements (21 hours).

Broker Manager, Broker Proprietor or Branch Broker License

Broker Applicants: Oklahoma Broker applicants who are seeking the license of Broker Manager (BM), Proprietor Broker (BP), or Branch Broker (BB) must complete a 15-clock hour Broker in Charge course in order to qualify for the license.

Continuing Education License Renewal: All Oklahoma Broker Managers (BM), Proprietor Brokers (BP) and Branch Brokers (BB) are required to complete the mandatory Oklahoma Broker in Charge (BIC) course as part of the 21-clock hour continuing education license renewal requirement. The 21-clock hours must consist of a 15-clock hour Broker in Charge course and at least 2 courses of the 6 required subjects as noted herein:

Broker Relationships Act (BRA)

Fair Housing (FHR)

Professional Conduct (PSC)

Hot Topic (HOT)

Contracts and Forms (CON)

Code and Rule Updates (CAR)

I found the Broker in Charge course easy to navigate and material was to the point. Had a minor technical glitch on Sunday and to my pleasant surprise my Oklahoma contact Anne Woody got it quickly resolved and I was able to complete my course with no angst. This was a very good course and enjoyed completing it at my own pace. Of course, most importantly I passed the Broker in Charge course.
