Effective September 12, 2014, rules require nonresident licensees who hold an active license in Oklahoma to successfully complete three (1 hour) courses on the required subjects of Broker Relationships, Contracts and License Code and Rules.
After the effective date, nonresident licensees must show proof of the hours prior to actively renewing their license in Oklahoma.
The rule changes will help ensure that nonresidents who operate in Oklahoma have knowledge about laws, rules and contracts that are specific to Oklahoma.
The required courses are offered online at Baahs.com and have been approved by the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission as meeting the nonresident licensee’s education requirement for Oklahoma.
